Cybersecurity Officer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity Officer to join our team. This person will always be looking for ways to better secure the bank environment against ever-increasing cyber risks.

 

The Cybersecurity Officer's responsibilities include monitoring networks for potential threats, reviewing security logs, documenting breaches and reporting issues so they can be adequately handled. Ultimately, you will be dealing with systems such as firewalls, IPS, WAF, SIEM, Security scanners, and Antimalware to monitor networks for any signs of intrusion while maintaining a working knowledge of new cybersecurity threats.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Perform regular monitoring and revision of the user access management process.
  2. Run and report internal and external vulnerability scans and follow-up remediation actions.
  3. Participate in regulatory compliance and certification tasks including PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, COBIT2019 and ISO27001.
  4. Conduct and report risk assessments for changes and new projects.
  5. Perform and report firewall rules in regular reviews.
  6. Conduct Information Security Awareness and phishing simulations.
  7. Monitor threat intelligence sources and report findings.
  8. Participate in the cybersecurity incident response team.
  9. Study and evaluate exceptional IT resource access requests.
  10. Review and monitor configuration standards to ensure security compliance.
  11. Conduct and report network segmentation tests.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or any related stream.
  1. 2 - 3 years of experience in information security.
  1. To be familiar with cybersecurity technologies and systems.
  1. Professional certificates are preferred, i.e. Security+, CEH, ISO27001.
