Junior Legal Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide timely legal advice and guidance to departments and business units across the Bank to support the Bank's operation.
2. Preparing, drafting, and reviewing draft agreements, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor legal and regulatory changes in banking, financial services, and corporate law, and assess their impact on the Bank.
4. Conduct legal due diligence for new products, services, and business initiatives.
5. Support expansion projects with robust legal analysis.
6. Prepare legal reports, risk assessments, and recommendations.
7. Assisting in supervising any negotiations taking place at the pre-signing stage of the draft key terms.
8. Any other tasks assigned to him by his direct manager or by the director of the Legal Affairs Department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law with a GPA of Very Good or above.
• Licensed to practice law with the Jordanian Bar Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in legal practice and advisory services (banking/financial experience preferred).
• Excellent command of legal English and proven ability to draft/review complex contracts in English.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, and banking law in Jordan.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s designated legal examination.
• Full-time commitment and flexibility to support business priorities.
