Join our dynamic team at Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) as a SOC Manager and take charge of safeguarding our digital infrastructure.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive SOC Manager to lead and manage our Security Operations Center. This role requires a leader with a strong foundation in security analysis, hands-on experience in Splunk Enterprise (on-premises), and a proven ability to guide and grow a team of analysts. You will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture, incident response capabilities, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead day-to-day SOC operations and manage a team of analysts.
  2. Ensure efficient threat monitoring, detection, and incident response.
  3. Oversee and optimize SIEM operations.
  4. Design and implement SOC strategies, processes, and incident playbooks.
  5. Perform advanced threat analysis and correlation of security events.
  6. Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, and cybersecurity teams.
  7. Conduct regular SOC audits and performance evaluations.
  8. Coach, mentor, and train SOC analysts.
  9. Experience with Co-Managed SOC models is a strong plus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Security Operations role.
  • Prior hands-on experience as a SOC Analyst is essential.
  • Proven leadership in managing or supervising SOC teams.
  • Proficiency in Splunk Enterprise SIEM.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, incident handling, and best practices.
  • Willingness to be on-call when needed.

Preferred Certifications (or equivalent experience):

  • Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)
  • Splunk Core Certified Power User / Admin
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Working Hours:

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 8 hours per day
  • On-call availability required
