Senior Business intelligence Analyst

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a strong passion for data to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. This role provides strategic, analytical, and technical support for business intelligence initiatives across the bank. The Senior BI Analyst leverages data to generate meaningful insights into business opportunities and translates these insights into clear, impactful outputs for business stakeholders. The role also plays a key part in the successful development, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of BI dashboards and analytical use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with business teams stakeholders to define and document business requirements for new dashboards and analytics use cases.
• Collect, clean, and organize raw data from multiple banking systems and sources, ensuring accuracy and preparing it for comprehensive analysis.
• Apply data transformation techniques to banking datasets to generate actionable insights that support banking strategy.
• Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends presenting findings through clear visualizations and executive summaries.
• Validate data integrity through rigorous quality checks, identifying discrepancies between systems or reporting periods, while recommending solutions aligned with banking standards.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy BI scripts and queries and perform detailed analytics
• Analyze data and develop, test, and maintain regular interactive visual dashboards and reports using BI tools, serving the needs of different end users and supporting management decision-making.
• Create detailed documentation for analytical models, methodologies, and findings that meet both internal governance requirements and regulatory expectations for financial data handling.
• Document data processes, methods, and findings to enable transparency, reproducibility, and continuity in analytic work.
• Define, recommend and implement changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems, applications and models
• Resolve any issues related to the BI tools and reports and get support from relevant stakeholders if needed
• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of BI models and dashboards.
• Understand all kinds of data and data sources at the bank and assess feasibility of data structure to be deployed in BI dashboards
• Work with Data Scientist to create and identify relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
• Participate in internal cultural transformation to become a data-driven organization.

Qualifications and Skills required:

• A Bachelor's degree in BI, Analytics, Data Science or related fields
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BI tools, infrastructure and reports
• Good experience and knowledge in data science, business intelligence, and data analytics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to build charts and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a drive to identify root causes of data issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience using data to drive business decisions.
• Experience in handling structured and unstructured data
• Strong understanding of business processes and KPIs
• Previous experience in banking is a plus
